Meadowcroft Griffin Architects
MGA was a traditional architecture design studio seeing projects through from Planning to Construction and Site attendance.
At MGA I cut my teeth on all things design and how to run a small architectural practice.
The work at MGA was a mix of private residential, nursery and schools - new build and refurbishment.
New Build
I took this project from tender, through detail design to completion on site.
Detailed and constant discussions with the client lead to a modern, light-filled home that formed the back drop to their family life and growing art collection.

Hampstead Heath - Bespoke furniture + light fixture

Hampstead Heath - Light + texture - oak furniture, concrete wall

Hampstead Heath - Site Plan
Nurseries + Schools
I was project architect for a number of refurbishments, extensions and reconfigurations for nurseries and schools.
Site-wide reviews of every project we approached lead to holistic interventions - addressing the key concerns of the clients - natural light, connection to the outside, space, storage, routes through and round each building, identity and security.
Briefs may have been similar but each solution was tailored to the individual clients, users and their communities identity.

Islington - Internal reconfigurations

Islington - External space

Islington + Croydon - Identity + security
